I SAW THIS

Man rides bike on West Side Highway, St. Patricks Day with small dog in shoulder pack, sometimes it's ok to leave your best friend at home.

Then this lady was spotted all in black with floor length skirt, funnel hat with ball, and spiky collar decoration.  It was strange but I enjoyed her whimsy cirque du Solell look. It certainly was far more inventive then the current trend where all young males strut around looking like Where's Waldo....please loosen your pants and pull down your beanie.

If baby is bored she/he can read all about the best bars in Brooklyn.

Medical supply store on Myrtle in Brooklyn.
If you look close you can see the breathing mask and neck brace.
Do you really need to show off your goods on a mannequin?

Your Old Toys...The Results are in

I sent out a email to see just what were your favorite childhood toys and these are the results, thank you to all who submitted.

Age 22 (M) favorite childhood toy, well in this case the game Mortal Kombat. Don't we all remember playing this at the local Pizza Hut?

Age 34 (M), I couldn't find a red plastic skateboard so this yellow one will have to do.

Age 31 (F)  An Atari, a Transformer and a Corn Silk
Cabbage Patch, they are all stars of the 80's that's for sure.

Age 27 (M) Power Wheels, yeah we all wanted one of these.

Age 63 (F)  A 1959 Barbie doll, and a blue girls Schwinn Bicycle

Age 30 (F) Pretty Kitties, Fairy Tails and My Little Pony

Age 29 (F) A 1986 Sesame Street Ernie doll, She-Ra dolls complete with castle and of course a Cabbage Patch

Making Beeswax salve

Weigh 1.7-2.0 ounces of Beeswax
Put in a double boiler, to melt the wax
Add Coconut Oil, Olive Oil, and whatever other oil you want to use....do what you want!
Melt everything!
Transfer everything into a glass jar, you know just to make sure your mix will fit, be enough...ect.  Then transfer it back into the stainless steel bowl and mix the heck out of it, like a scrambled egg.  If you don't do this the mixture will saparate and the wax will form like a candle on the bottom of the jar with the oil on top.
Transfer the whipped mix into a jar and your done, no more dry cracked winter hands.

I love you little Tutu

She is so cute when she curls up to her food bowl.

Re-rooting Cabbage Patch Kid

First you need to have an old Cabbage Patch or a new one.  Take its head off by cutting the zip tie around the neck and then pop off the plug on the bottom of the head. Start by cutting the dolls hair as close to the head as possible and pulling it out with pliers. Gather all your tools together, a doll, scissors, pliers, darning needle and yarn.  Thread the needle and push it into (through the top of the head) the pre-existing holes on dolls head, pull through (you may need to use pliers to pull the needle), tie and repeat (two knots will do). I like to keep the hair long and neat that's why I braided it as I went along.  After your finished unbraid the hair and cut to your style. Re-rooting this way takes a very long time, so if this is something you wouldn't enjoy don't bother.
